Among lovers of good sound there is a group of buyers, which is not ready for different reasons to purchase huge speaker systems and sacrifice living space for their hobby. The novelty from System Audio was created exactly for them - miniature monitors with self-explanatory name "Talent". These babies can nestle in the most secluded corners of your room and fill it with music, although the size of its faceplate is not larger than a sheet of A4 paper.

Each monitor is equipped by one mid/low-frequency speaker with long way of diffuser and also by the tweeter with soft woven dome, similar to those which are used in the larger speaker systems of the company. Only one pair of terminals is provided and this is rightly - there is no point in organizing bi-wiring and especially be-amping for such babies. At the installation of the monitors on a flat surface you should remember that the lower panel of the body is beveled and that's why they are slightly tilted back. Probably, such decision is intended to provide direction of the high-frequency speaker's axis directly to the head of a seated listener.
In accordance with the firmed ideology the sound of System Audio Talent distinguishes by confident tone transmission of live instruments. Despite of the fact that System Audio belong to the entire level in the nomenclature, Talent clearly separate viola from violin and the last one from cello. And even in this case we are dealing with a fully digital recording, this fact does not affect the listening comfort and naturalness of sound. Drum set sparkles with pure copper slightly covered by a veil. However, the instruments with rich specter of low frequencies don't have needed weight - double bass passages are only indicated and don't chain you to a chair. In General, the only soft spot in the palette of System Audio Talent abilities (quite expected, I will note) is bass. However, despite of some narrowing of event's scales, the speakers show a rare musicality that makes it be indispensable companion for the lovers of small forms.
The main application field of this pair is sounding of back channels in a home cinema or the work in the capacity of cabinet acoustics for thoughtful listening of jazz and chamber classics. In order to groove at the party the monitors need the support of a good subwoofer, which will be able to add properly a live and moving mid-frequency range of System Audio Talent.
