Triangle Titus EX Bookshelf speakers

Titus EX shelf speaker systems are the younger model of the updated Espirit EX series - the most popular in Triangle. The newest branded emitters are used in these miniature monitors - an inch tweeter with titanium dome in the compression chamber and 13-cm midbass with the diffuser made of cellulose, corrugated suspension and phase equalizing bullet. The bass-reflex port is put on the front panel that allows you to install the systems on a shelf or in a shelve stand. But it is better, of course, to use special racks.

Small bodies are quite massive, perfectly plugged and finished to the highest level. Two variants of color are available - black and "cognac".

The sound of these French monitors firstly attracts by airy and accurate upper range. Titanium dome of the tweeter works surprisingly promptly, although with a bit greater return than necessary. So the overall tonal balance is brightened, the sound needs a bit more thoroughness. The lower range is also quite modest in Titus EX. MIDs are extremely legible and rich with timbres; it is a pleasure to listen to songs of chamber jazz. Slight non-linearity is heard at the junction of the ranges that is especially noticeable when playing grand piano. Sound stage is formed fully only upon the condition of exact placement of the system relatively to the listener. In this case there are no questions to it.
