Acoustic Energy Linear One Bookshelf speakers

At first glance British Linear One are distinguished among other models only by the finish. This pair looks fashionable thanks to the black lacquer coating of the case and silver enamel on the front panel. However, the artful curvature was given to the "facade" not only for the sake of beauty. The shape of the cylindrical recess across the entire width of the panel was modeled by computer methods and is designed to improve the linearity and phase characteristics of the playback. The 25-mm fabric dome of the tweeter (with a neodymium magnet system) is slightly recessed into the body, but it stands toe to toe to the central cap of a 130-mm mid-woofer (its diffuser is made of aluminum). As thus, the concept of Time Aligned was so easily implemented. "Symmetric" 3rd order separation filters are used in the loudspeakers for the same purpose. Every detail of Acoustic Energy Linear One is made very carefully. These loudspeakers have impressive weight, the walls of 15 mm MDF are well plugged, and the ports of the bass-reflexes are rounded.

The sound of Acoustic Energy Linear One makes interest with natural detailing (especially in the mid-frequency band) and the correct musical balance. Reproduction is neutral, not compressed in dynamics. The loudspeakers perfectly convey the attack and are distinguished by a strong bass potential - all this gives the sound realism and artistry. Stereo panorama is somewhat wider. The lack of binding of imaginary sound sources to the loudspeaker makes the scene impressively three-dimensional.
