MartinLogan FX2 Surround Speakers

In its FX2 surround speakers MartinLogan uses the patented Folded Motion XT solution - a proprietary technology for making tape drivers. There are two such tweeters, they are located on the beveled sides of the body, and, according to the engineers, they should form a large-scale sound space. The developers managed to find place for a solid bass driver in the case. Its 165-millimeter diffuser is made of pressed cellulose and works on a bass reflex. Two ports have oval sockets for reducing turbulence. Convenient fasteners are included for wall mounting, allowing you to place loudspeakers not only on a flat plane, but also in the corners of the room.

MartinLogan FX2 has a stunning by accuracy middle - the detailing in this band is so high that all the nuances of the soundtrack as if spread before the eyes. It is also worth to mention a decent frequency and dynamic ranges. The spectrum begins with very heavy basses and extends to a practically weightless air top. Compared to competitors, FX2 has a slightly increased radiation directivity in the upper register, so the systems require careful installation in the listening room. In addition, at high volume, there may be slight signs of compression at times: for comfortable listening it is not recommended to raise the level to max.
