Microsystem Pioneer X-CM31

Several years ago, watched myself microsystem for the kitchen - to listen to the radio, and sometimes - music from the CD. I wanted something not too expensive, and compact with decent sound. Combed eventually a few large chain stores and realized that I wanted something completely unreal. Offered very cheap audio suitable size, but does not suit the sound. Or more expensive with DVD-player and a mediocre sound. And those that are well reproduced, were too large (does not fit in the cupboard) and have not been on a budget. In the end, a compromise bought something - like works, but does not bring much joy.

But such a system, as a Pioneer X-CM31, I would be interested. In size it is held, appearance, to my taste, attractive: Classic design is combined with a recognizable brand features. Model, by the way, is available in more vibrant colors - red or white (subscripts R and W), though the column in all versions of black. A large volume knob spectacularly illuminated with white light. Remote compact but complete.

Dock for iPod (and iPhone and even the iPad - Tablet included is optional stand) can hide behind a sliding curtain - not to gather dust and not irritate those who has managed to buy Apple gadgets with the new connector. For them, by the way, the possibility of connecting with a cable interface USB. And since today's portable Apple devices can store not only music, but also video, the system is equipped with outputs for connecting to a TV - composite video and audio line. Of course, the docking station performs charging, and control is operated with the gadgets.

FM-tuner - with RDS, moreover complete. The reception quality is decent, though in a city is very desirable good external antenna.

Another source of information - CD-player with a thin inconspicuous tray loader at the bottom of the chassis. In addition to regular CDs, can play discs with mp3 files and WMA. These formats are supported for USB-carriers. Also provides for the connection of external devices to the 3.5mm jack on the front panel (located in the lower left corner near the exit to the headphones).

And now the fun. Sound system is surprisingly clean and detail. Stock volume solid, the frequency balance is pretty even, all right - and the top and bottoms. In a small room does not even need to activate the function of lifting the bass (P.bass). Explicit genre preferences do not show - worthy plays everything, including the classics. Clearly hear the difference between mp3 files and CD Audio, indicating a fairly high-resolution system - uncompressed records are played softer and somehow more enjoyable. So do not rush to throw CDs - for this system they are still useful.
