Two frontal bass-reflex ports of impressive diameter as if inkle that everything with bass in Subsonic 6i will be in full order. And it seems to be true - 12-inch head with polypropylene diffuser on soft elliptical suspension is hidden under the cloth grill. It is equipped with powerful magnetic system and 2-inch sound coil, which is able to withstand serious overloads. But the most interesting thing here is an amplification unit, being built on the discrete BASH scheme with output power of 700W. A built-in fourth ordered LF filter (24 dB/oct.) rearranges within 50-150 Hz. It is very handy that the handle of its regulator (like volume control) is placed on the front panel - you needn't to move sub each time while setting.

Subsonic 6i differs by quite powerful sound, fully corresponding to its impressive sizes. The sub is extremely generous in dynamic contrasts and can easily pump a big room. In addition, it is better to set the cutoff frequency regulator close to minimal value - the sound becomes more balanced. In music phonograms the bass-machine does not set records in sound resolution or attack purity, but it will find few good competitors in the system of home cinema too. Bass is deep, with infra low cosmponents, which you literally all over feel. Loud kicks and shots are transferred with correct attack and good tonal resolution.
