Phonar Veritas m4 Next Bookshelf speakers

The belonging of Phonar Veritas m4 Next monitors to premium series is determined not only by hand assembly and perfect finish quality, but also the use of first-class drivers. High frequencies are given to a 27-mm tweeter with a soft dome made by the Danish Scan-Speak. The rest part of the working band is sounded by a 16-cm Peerless driver. Internal wiring is made by the cable from a super-pure copper and only audiophile components with a minimal spread of values are used in the crossover. The massive gilt terminals are installed on the back wall, allowing bi-wiring to an amp. Also, using jumpers, some correction of intensity of high frequencies is possible. Important detail is complete production cycle is organized on Phonar factory in German Tarp.

The middle, maximally open and alive, is most attractive in the performance of Phonar Veritas m4 Next. In this part the systems show extremely high sound resolution and perfect separation of the instruments. Higher in the spectrum the sound is not less pleasant. The tweeter differs by enviable accuracy of playing and wonderful resolution, which does not turn into exaggerated fidelity of recording's artifacts. The lower part of the case is deep and dynamical enough, bass attack is natural. However, the lowest frequencies slightly lose concentration and prone to monotony. The monitors had no difficulties with recreating of virtual space. The stage is quite dense and scaled, its depth is clearly seen. The accuracy of positions of imaginary sources is normal, but a bit higher in the central part of panorama.
