Canton Chrono 503.2 speaker systems can be referred to medium-sized monitors, designed for work in small rooms. They have two-way construction with bass-reflex, air port of which is placed to the back wall. Traditionally the systems are assembled on own-engineered drivers, which a number of the patented technologies are implemented in. The tweeter is equipped with an inch dome made of alloy from aluminum and magnesium, combining light weight and high rigidity. Its characteristics impress - spectacular playback band reaches 40 kHz. The woofer's diffuser with the diameter of 18 cm ismade of aluminum, itslong stroke is provided by the branded rubber suspension. The developers are silent about the parameters of crossover filter; we only know that crossover frequency of bands is chosen at 3000 Hz.

In all musical material Canton Chrono 503.2 showed perfect dynamical qualities and accurate tonal balance. In addition to the highest sound resolution, they have enviable timbral intelligibility. They easily cope with different music genre that makes them universal. In most cases the systems can easily work without the support of a subwoofer - their existing bass potential allows to adequately play even symphonic classics. Upper case is as usual for this brand clear and transparent. The only thing that may disappoint is a slight deficit of the most of airy components. The stage extends to a sufficient depth and has quite good width. We should also mention an accurate localization of virtual images with different spectrum.
