HECO Aleva GT 202 Bookshelf speakers

HECO Aleva GT 202 monitors have two-way construction with the bass-reflex. A solid weight of speakers, indicating the quality of internal damping, immediately draws the attention. Strength bodies are made of massive MDF plates, strapped by the struts, and the thickness of the front panel is increased to impressive 25 mm. The construction of tweeter is very uncommon. a soft dome made of artificial silk has an increased up to 28 mm diameter, and the band is expanded up to 42 kHz. The tweeter is equipped with a dual magnetic system and high-temperature sound coil with ferromagnetic cooling. The woofer's sizes are not the most record (130 mm), but due to the increased pace of diffuser there should not be any problems with bass. Close attention was paid to crossover's scheme with the frequency cut of 3400 Hz. It's emphasized that its scheme is maximally phase-linear and provides connection to an amp by bi-wiring.

The sound of HECO Aleva GT 202 speakers is crystal transparent, but with noticeable rise of the response in the area of HF. Due to this reason timbres of some instruments are lightened and voice sibilants are expressed brighter than usual. Dynamics is very high here, there is no problem with energy and transfer of the structure of low-frequency range. Basses are quite deep, with accurately adjusted attack and perfect resolution. Side-tones are not observed at any comfortable volume. Stage goes far beyond the perimeter of system's arrangement, but at the same time is close to the listener. Distant plans are slightly veiled, albeit perfect order is in front.
