NAD C326BEE AmplifierC326BEE is the continuer of traditions of the famous 320th series. Having a fairly low price it is equipped to a high standard. In addition to seven inputs for connection of sources, there are two subwoofer outputs, output from the amplifier and Main jacks for usage of terminal section as a power amp. On the front panel also there are a headphone jack and 3.5 mm connector for portable audio player. All that's missing is a built-in phono amp, but for this case NAD has very cheap external unit. Output capacity measures are not record here (50 W per channel), but due to the proprietary topology of output PowerDrive cascades, a confident work is guaranteed even with the most difficult load. A massive toroid transformer Holmgren is used in power supply unit, and the general circuit technique of C326BEE is fully discrete. The sound of this model can be described as very confident and really strong. At overall high transparency you feel a confident control of the system in the whole range. The quality of work in low register earns a special praise - bass is elastic, clear and fast. Dynamic features here are also one of the best. The overall tonal balance is neutral; coloring across the entire operating band is minimal. The quality of mid frequencies corresponds to the price of the device - seems that there are no noticeable omissions, but timbre variety is not as high as desired. The tops are clear, with good resolution, but also need a bit more higher components to be ideal. The scene is built confidently and with clear localization of images. We have claims only because of not very transparent secondary plans, which sometimes seem to be a bit blurred. |
