NAD C356BEE-DAC AmplifierBy functional equipment this amplifier claims to be an absolute leader. In addition to traditional analog input terminals (seven ones), it has a full-fledged digital converter with a USB input. This is done within the framework of the MDC brand concept, according to which a number of NAD models can be additionally equipped with various modules - from DAC to high-quality phono amp. Like in other company's amplifiers NAD C356BEE-DAC uses a full set of proprietary technologies. High-current output stages have the patented PowerDrive circuitry, and the Soft Clipping system is responsible for the safety of the loudspeakers. Impressive and power of the device - each of the channels is able to easily put in a load of more than 80 watts (8 ohms). Thanks to a solid power-to-weight ratio, the NAD C356BEE-DAC has absolutely no problems with the buildup of almost any loudspeakers. The amplifier competently studies the low-frequency part of the band, while the basses are well-formed and weighty in depth. In the middle range is also exemplary order. Due to the purity of this spectrum, the amplifier is one of the leaders among competitors, but here a bit more would be wanted here for the timbre variety. The fact is that with all the sharpness of the sound on this segment is somewhat sterile and sometimes even boring. The amplifier does not completely mask the individual parts, filling the treble with the necessary energy. The work of the built-in DAC left an exceptionally pleasant impression. Regardless of the type of connection, the playback retained both dynamics and naturalness. The formation of space is integral. The scene is truly three-dimensional, the images are sized and arranged in a strict order. |
