Totem Storm Subwoofer

In a small volume of the reinforced structure there are three drivers, two of which work as passive radiators. A front driver with a diameter of 8 inches is active, and the side membranes are designed to expand the operating range down and simultaneously improve the accuracy of the bass reproduction. The reinforced part of the Totem Storm subwoofer has the sufficient power (300 W) and, according to the developers, high current values. Speaking about the adjustments, you can select the cut-off frequency (with the ability to completely turn off the crossover), the volume level and the smooth phase adjustment, useful for the exact matching of the sub with the loudspeakers. There is also an automatic turn-on mode when an input signal appears and a "sleep" mode with its long absence, in which the subwoofer consumes a minimum of energy.

A number of tests showed that the subwoofer works best with a narrowed band. Thanks to a pair of passive radiators, a relatively compact subwoofer produces really deep basses, rich with infra-low components. Totem Storm clearly reproduces the structure of low-frequency instruments, at times only slightly tightening the attack. Side-tones of the case is not observed at any volume. The sound preferences of this model have also been found out - it manages best with separate low-frequency bursts, which usually theatrical soundtracks are rich with.
