This model is known as the cheapest device equipped with a digital processor ALPHA. Although I take all the improvements that expand the limits of physical abilities (especially those with big names) with a grain of salt, the ALPHA system is very respectable. It offers such modes as an auto-edit, auto-spacing, peak search, re-playing and shuffling. There are also a pitch control, a step-by-step index fragment search, a coaxial digital output and analogue output - non-controllable and controllable (as a headphone jack).

The sound is "big", detailed and dynamic. High frequencies sound clear, dynamic, a bit emphasized, with no grains. Low frequencies sound good, well-worked and dimensional. The mids are flawless.
